After our huge snowfall last week, I thought it would be fun
To fight my way through snowdrifts to capture
The snow-laden clouds.
The snow was up to my thighs.
My feet got cold as it seeped into my boots.
The bench seemed a good place to
Contemplate the horizon
And enjoy the view.
For more contemplation, please visit: Skywatch.
The snow scenes are beautiful! As a Southern girl, I’m not accustomed to that much snow; I know I would freeze to death! lol
Have a lovely day.

anche io abito molto a sud, ma sono innamorata della neve, e vado a cercarla nella mia casa delle vacanze sulle Dolomiti! quindi amo moltissimo queste visioni così candide e soffici!

We are expecting first shower on Monday. Snow is magical and I love it. Though, thigh deep is not what I would like here in Jersey.
Beautiful shots.

Oh my! You DID get a lot of snow. We usually get a couple of deep snows a year, as in 20 inches per storm, and it’s always beautiful and magical looking. Our pups LOVE it!!

Wow, it all looks like a fairytale, so beautiful. But I know if you live with it, it doesn’t always seem quite so great after a couple of days! Is this early for you to get this much snow?

It’s not early for snow, but it is early for this much. However, it’s all melted away now.

That little bridge in the last shot really adds a nice touch to the scene, in the Summer, you probably wouldn’t notice it.
