A golden tree line
Of sparkling trees;
A tiny, wooden, red cottage
Surrounded by iced delight;
And happy blue skies
To go along with frosty nose and fingers.

Your photos prove that brown can be beautiful. My husband took our Fraser Fir Christmas tree (without roots) and “planted” it on the edge of the woods near our property. It is totally brown, but when I walk by I can catch a whiff of evergreen. Thank you, Fiona!
