Blue skies after days of no sun
And the sight of an 850-year-old tree
Tickling the sky brings joy.
I love the way the branches of winter-bare trees
Seem frozen in the middle of a dance.
Nature uses trees and brilliant blue
To create art.

I too love the outline of tree -devoid of leaves. the lines and silhouette make a pretty interesting subject in itself!

OMG! 850 years old! How do they know that? From part of it that has been cut? Wow! It is so craggy-beautiful. 🙂

I know it’s that old because it’s protected and stands on the property of friends, who have found out from the county just how old it is!

We are not always beautiful when we undressed.
A tree is always beautiful, bare or dress. It has many suits along the year.
And your photos are beautiful, as always.

I love your way with words, Fiona! And that’s exactly how they appear…frozen in the middle of a dance.
I adore trees. I find them filled with healing energy and wisdom. I always feel so much better after spending a few hours in a park, sitting under a tree.
Gorgeous photos, my friend! Have a lovely weekend!
