As winter is disappearing,
I want to savour the most beautiful parts:
The delicacy of silvered trees,
Covered in hoar frost and
Slung against the canvas of a blue, blue sky;
And little, red cottages
Snug in snowy pillows.

The last bit of winter is beautiful. The pastel colors look beautiful and soothing.

Our Winter was so different. We never had a day like this, we usually do. Last Winter we had a hoar frost, that was amazing.

Nature makes such fantastical monuments, which causes me to wonder at times. Why humankind gazes upwards and outwards beyond the sky. When the heavens face them directly dead on. To steal a line from Woody Guthrie, and then re-purpose in another way -these monuments of lights , ‘ a bring your own god to church’ kinda place. Am not religious, per say, but images of natural happenings is ‘spiritual enlightenment’. Irrational ?
