Spring walk

While I was in New Jersey, I met up with a friend to walk in a park.

According to his crystal ball, it was going to be a fine spring day.

Blossoms had already popped on the trees

Like petalled popcorn,

Gracefully weeping

Into the bowl of the river.

I even found the beautiful limbs of a tree

Embracing the one next to it —

Reminding us that nature is love.

Fiona, I just LOVE the way you expressed that. And it’s so true! You photographs (as usual) are absolutely stunning! OMG…I especially love the one of the crystal ball. Faaaaaaabulous shot!

Thanks for sharing the beauty within nature, my friend!

  2. Hi Fiona! I just left a comment but didn’t see it after I clicked on the post comment button. Perhaps it somehow landed in spam? I’ll stop back tomorrow to see if it posted.

  6. I live in NJ, which usually gets a bad rap for being ugly (it’s not!), so thanks for sharing such beautiful photos of it! I’d love to know what part of Jersey this is!

    1. This is not our spring – still snowing here in Sweden – but the spring I enjoyed while visiting New Jersey last week.
