The first time I saw this white wooden church
I gasped in amazement at its beauty.
It started out as a simple chapel built in the 1700s —
And then in the mid-1800s, it was expanded
And the old clock tower replaced with a new one.
The white wooden planking,
The delicate leaded windows —
Such simple and exquisite beauty
Iced with snow and love.

I really would like to get up close and personal to the textures of it’s outer skin and layers. Did you? It has the look of a ‘sagdious lady’. I always view and think of churches more of feminime rather than masculine -would that be correct or proper?

I’m so honoured to have interviewed you! Thank you so much for the opportunity – and for mentioning it here! Although it DOES seem a little ironic that it’s in a wonderfully icy setting when we are struggling through a heatwave with temperatures so far up to 45C!! I’m also endlessly fascinated by the monochrome look of snowscapes – so your post was a real treat on several counts!! Thanx again!!
