A serene and very early Saturday morning.
The sky has become an Impressionist painting,
Lovingly smudged in lilac and pink.
Fog turns dawn into a painting by Monet
And out of its misty hills
The trees that hint of the autumn to come
Float as if in heaven.

Wow, those are ALL outstanding! I especially like the last shot, as the misty vapor blurs the transition between the real and the mirror image. Worldly and other-worldly all at once.

Ooooh. That is so beautiful. And I find it fascinating that Monet has affected the way so many people look at things – in Antarctica I saw a version of his waterlilies executed in ice. Such a shame he couldn’t know the far reaching impact he would have.

If I didn’t know it was real, I’d think you made it all up, Fi! There is that line again – between the lake and the trees – perhaps the mist makes it. Separating what is on land from the watery reflection. I love the way it does that.
