Ogden Nash once declared that a door is what a dog is always on the wrong side of.
Or, in this case, a window.
Not any old window, but the neighbours’ igloo window.
I sat there (in the igloo) for a while – just enjoying the tail end of the day…

Oh, Fi – Oscar looks as though he’s pondering the situation. Also – is that the tail end of a muffin along with Oscar’s tail end?
LikeLike
Not a muffin – it’s a ceramic turtle that is decorating the window of the igloo.

Just love the tail shot…so funny! I still think you must have the coolest neighbours with a personal igloo!! SO COOL!

That pretty well illustrates the tail end!
Really, an igloo? Built for or by the kids? Our sons, when they were Boy Scouts, used to go winter camping occasionally and they learned how to build a snow cave to stay warm. (In the Mountains in Oregon near where we used to live; I don’t imagine it ever was anywhere near as cold as you get in the winters, but too cold for me.)

Our next door neighbour built this igloo in his front garden for his kids. Naturally, it’s a magnet for all the kids – and dogs (and the occasional adult) in the neighbourhood!

Didn’t he want to get in? Mine wouldn’t be content before he’d torn the igloo down and scrambled in onto my lap! Nice shots!
LikeLike
Yes, he was desperate to get in but it was too difficult to hop in through the window and the kids had shut the igloo door. He gave up and waited patiently outside the window instead!

Oh, those beautiful golden faces. So lovely. Makes me sad because we just lost our old gentleman. But he’s doing what goldens do best enjoying life and your photos are great. I can see why you stayed to watch.

I love these images – the contrast of white and golden.:) Trying to figure out what is inside the igloo on the other shot, but I guess toys of some sort.;)
As for my new camera, it is a Canon PowerShot G12. And I love it.;)
Have a wonderful Sunday evening,
