Merry sky

We’ve had a spate of white skies and snowstorms recently; but now and then, the sun bursts through in a wonderful explosion of blue and white.

This picture raised my spirits and I set it as my desktop picture so that I smiled every time I sat down at my computer.

Now you can do the same, if you wish.

Click the picture to see it in full resolution and then feel free to download it or transfer it to your computer to enjoy. (Just drag the full size picture onto your computer desktop.)

  1. I’m hoping to see some of that beautiful blue sky here today after a few inches of new snow last night. At least I’ll have your beautiful picture to come back to if our sun doesn’t shine today.

  2. We had the first snowfalls couple of days ago but did not last. So I haven’t taken a photos of snow like you did. I enjoy seeing beautiful snow photos taken by you!

  3. Stunning image! I agree with you on the beautiful sentiments of white and blue. The winter sun can come across almost as platinum, giving deeper shades of azure to the heavens and pale to the snow.

  4. Today snow is starting to fall again, and I hope the week-end will bring some sun so I could try and capture the Winter, the way you do so beautifully. Thank you 🙂

  5. It is just stunning ~ I love how the bright blue and crystals of snow and ice create so much light for our wintry days.
What a gift from our Creator!
