Snow cone

On Friday, I woke up early to a carpet of white and a whirl of snowflakes.

After a while, I could stand it no longer and roused the anklebiters so we could go outside and dance in the snow.

Just around lunchtime, the sun came out so Oscar and I went out in search of dazzle and diamonds and snow.

He caught some – right on the nose.

  1. You win the early snow reward!! I think your snow free days were quite short this year..I think I would like a summer do over.
I am sure Oscar loved the snow and I can just see you and your brood dancing in the snow:)

  2. Snow already??? We had our first frost yesterday, and I did not find that so lovely. I’ve been wondering if I would get outside more often if you were my neighbor. Hmmm.

  3. Nooooo, not snow already! Reading your post made me realise that any chance of experiencing an Indian summer will just not happen. How can winter be here already?

  4. Oscar is SO gorgeous. What a handsome fellow he is, and he seems to be the same red-gold as our Lindy. Beautiful picture of a beautiful boy.

  5. Hey! Wow! I love your new look! Love that header!!! I was confused when I landed here thinking I was in the wrong place!

And how can you have such a lovely post about autumn and then go straight into snow. Now Sweden isn’t looking so good to me!

  6. Love that picture! I can just picture Oscar sniffing through the snow. It’s raining here and I have a sinking feeling that it’s going to morph into snow any day, now. Not sure I’m ready for it, yet.
