Just imagine that you are at one of those shelters I talked about last week. Drinking your hot chocolate, warming your hands by the fire, gazing out over the water.
And, if you happen to be our dog, then nothing – not the greyness of the sky nor the cold temperatures – will stop you from enjoying the moment.

You have a very brave and fearless dog, at least based on this.

Ah, that’s why we love our dogs!! They may be crazy, but they surely do know how to have fun — regardless of the weather! Great post, my friend!
Enjoy!

Dogs don’t really feel the cold, except for silly little chihuahuas, who tremble all the time anyway. But I’ve seen them suffer if it’s too hot.
Oscar is really some adventurous dog. Who teaches them to swim?

My dog is the same way, if she is loose near any water she has to go in the water. They must not feel the cold like people do.

I love that your dog is so water crazy. Ours would die before getting herself wet! 🙂

I love animals, especially dogs. And giraffes. I’d love to see a giraffe try to pull that off. Did you know elephants can swim? Amzing, but true.

That first burst of cold liquid on him must be something unimaginable – and then I guess you have to run away when he shakes himself dry.

Oscar, you are making us so jealous! Clive will hardly get his paw wet let alone have a proper swim!!
The two towers behind Clive you asked about the other day are the infamous Poolbeg Electricity Generators that have been a part of the Dublin skyline for the past 30 years. First totally hated, now that they are about to be shut down – there is a campaign on to not knock them down!
It was just puddles of water on the beach – no ice or snow here I’m afraid – if we get one sprinkling of snow in the whole winter we will be lucky!!
What we would give for some proper snow!
