My favourite sky is the intense blue of winter
Crisscrossed with ice contrails.
(This photo was taken last winter.)
This year winter has been too mild (in comparison)
And so we’ve had to enjoy the misty blues of winter fog
Shrouding a Viking church.
Whichever way you look at it, it’s all good.
For more blue skies, please visit: Skywatch.
The ice contrails are my favorite, Lady Fi!

You would love our desert skies, if you like deep blue. I tend to get a bit tired of blue skies, since we have it almost all the time.Even now that we’re not supposed to. As always, gorgeous pictures. Sweden is lucky to have you document its beauty and share it on your blog.

Wonderful shots again, LadyFi, I specially love the crispy ice crystals on the first photo.
We have had hardly any winter this year, the lowest temperature was -5,4 ÂşC. Normally the average temperature in our winters is about 2,6 ÂşC in our graden. This winter the average temperature of winter was 5,2 ÂşC. Looking outside it is spring now with several flowers blooming already.
