Sometimes, what is in the foreground —
An old church in a Norwegian mining village in the mountains, for example,
Or a beloved furry friend —
Is far more interesting than the sky (lovely as it is) in the background.
For more front figures, please go to: Skywatch.
Two beautiful scenes for different reasons! I love the Norwegian church against that pastel sky! I know how much you love your furry friends which feature so lovingly in your photographs!

Both are wonderful. Is it just me or does the first picture have a look of a model town? Like a scaled down version. Or maybe it really is just too good to be true looking! Either way, stunning.

This really is a full scale version of Roros town! I was at the top of
one of the slag heaps looking down at the town.

Great views. Your dogs must be quite accustomed to the camera.

I so agree, Fiona. Very often the foreground and background take turns being the focus of an image.
GORGEOUS photographs! I love the steeple on that church. Such a beautiful scene in its totality.
Have a great weekend, my friend! And thanks so much for sharing the beauty! 🙂

The scenes are such a contrast, that one doesn’t even look at the lovely skies.

Funny— they looked like a model to me as well. No negative implied whatsoever. Beautiful subject, great pictures.

What a nice and unusual looking church. Interesting how the color of your furry friend matches that of the trees in the background.

Both images are beauriful and you are right about the foreground and background in a photo. Most of the time the sky isn’t the real focus.

As much as I love seeing your dog, I enjoyed the Norwegian village, too. A country I hope I can visit one day.
