Lesson 1: Smile!
A smile confuses an approaching frown and brightens the world around it.
I’ve never seen a smiling face that wasn’t beautiful. Have you?
Lesson 2: Hug someone!
It’s easy to take love for granted and we may only realize what we had when it’s already gone.
A hug says more than a thousand words. (Remember to hug yourself too.)
Lesson 3: Choose love over hate.
It’s all too easy to hang onto those familiar feelings of hate or anger towards someone. Unfortunately, this harms us more than it harms others.
I like to think of the Swedish proverb that goes, “Love me when I least deserve it – because that’s when I really need it.”
And have you noticed how nothing loves you as much as a wet dog?

Nope I’ve never seen a smiling face that I didn’t think was beautiful. You are so right a hug…especially a sincere hug speaks louder than words. Of course I am all over choosing love over hate. 🙂 Is this your daughter in the picture with Oscar? She is beautiful and her smile is gorgeous.
Thank you for brightening up my day with your photo’s and words this Saturday morning. XX

Always nice to be reminded of those simple truths and wisdoms.
Smiling and hugging are good for you! They increase the production of benificial chemicals/hormones in your body, which may sound hopelessly clinical and non-romantic, but helps to make you feel more romantic.

Usually those with bad dental hygeine.

My dear Fi: Come around Winder, Ga and you
will change your mind about Lesson 1. Where I work I have a large sign…Please don’t smile, it hurts my eyes.
Lesson 2: I do agree on. My sister, Hilda, and I hugged for a loooong time yesterday. We hadn’t seen each other in a year. You don’t need words to express love when you hug.
Lesson 3: Swedish people are be very wise.
I believe Oscar loves you wet or dry….

Really, really excellent photos and very inspiring words too. I agree that love is important even if you are hurt by someone. But it is difficult to think in a positive way about the person who has harmed you and your family. Still we must try to do so….Thank you!
