In honour of the Chinese New Year – it’s Year of the Dog –
I’m featuring some of my favourite furry friends.
Those of you who have followed me for a while will recognize my very best fuzzy friend, Oscar.
When he died,
Two more furry friends, Ruby and Simmie, came into my life.
(It’s not often I get them both in the same picture.)
I love the way dogs embrace life –
And make the most of what they have:
Whether it’s a snowstorm
Or a large stick.
We can learn a lot from dogs.
For more furry friends or otherwise, please visit: Our World.
Awh, Oscar! Happy New Year of the Dog 🐶 Look at that big stick! 🙂

Animals bring blessings into our lives. My 2 kitties are so comforting and got me through my husbands passing. A friend adopted a brown lab after his wife died and it has helped him immensely.

So perfect – I have a new idea I am trying out – each night, I am asking myself if I allowed joy to overcome any problems I was having that day. It seems to me this is something at which dogs excel – each moment is about the joy! Thanks for giving us some of theirs today!

lovely shots. Oscar was a great poser, huh. I miss my Miss Molly. I never could get a good shot of her either, until she hit around 12 or 13. So I got just a few years of good photographing with her before she met up with Oscar. Love to both of them.
