Building bridges

This photo was taken during the deliciously cold winter of 2010.

I like the symbolism of the bridge connecting two small islands of land:

It reminds me that we are all connected

And that it’s never too late to reach out

And mend bridges.

Stop being who you were, and change into who you are. — Paulo Coelho

The insight and depth which saturates this image makes it a mystical nirvana of sorts, well at least to me -cool blue tint, yet warming and thoughtful but still fragile.

I relate to the words; yours and those of Paulo Coelho. Some bridges can be mended, where as others require a complete reconstruct.

  40. Happy New Year! I wish you all the best in 2013!! Lovely photo! In answer to your question..Chance is eight..and he is a little stiff in his front legs..one baby aspirin a day given with some peanut butter or in some cheese makes him feel much better. He was on a fancy prescription Remadryl..but that seemed not to work as well as the baby aspirin. Kisses for Oscar! :)
