My mum wanted to go up Seaford Head
To hear the larks sing.
So, that’s what we did:
Enjoyed the birdsong
With the Seven Sisters (chalk cliffs) in the background.
For more birdsong, pleas visit: Our World.

Fiona, these images are beyond stunning! WOW…the contrast between the exposed sides of the white chalk cliffs and the greenish mossy tops is breathtaking. As well is the misty fog because it gives the photographs a dreamy/mystical feel. These images look like paintings.
Thanks so much for sharing the beauty, my friend. And have a super week! 🙂

There are lots of skylarks that sing high over the fields near here, a wonderful sound in spring and summer though the scenery is less impressive than you enjoyed there.

Fabulous, Lady Fi! I wish my mum had been able to walk this stretch with me. We visited the South Downs National Park last November and I thought it was breathtakingly beautiful. I’d love to go again soon. Hope the New Year has started well for you. X
