Snow looks best
When draped over the warm wood of an old mill.
The view of the nearby cemetry
Is a peaceful one, and leads to contemplation.
And, as always, furry friends
Jump with joy and embody life.

Snowy postcards, and also your dog enlighted the cold temperature.

These are beautiful, wintry scenes! Love that first one, and of course, the Furry Friends one. The cemetery always make me pause and think and remember.

There are a lot of headstones in there! I love the shock of red in snow! Barns are great for providing that.

Stunning photos, Fiona! I have such an attraction for visiting cemeteries; especially old ones. Philadelphia, being such an old American city, has a lot of small cemeteries with very old tombstones. I sometimes like to walk through them and read the dates and names, and wonder who these people were and what kind of lives they lived.
Thanks for sharing the beauty, my friend! Have a wonderful week! 🙂

It’s very agreeable to receive three such lovely postcards in the morning post. However I don’t “wish I was there” (particularly the second one!) as it looks a bit chilly to my taste. I don’t mind the occasional white day but wouldn’t enjoy it going on week after week. But then I don’t have a thick fur coat like the dogs!
