Autumn has been and gone over here —

But I’m reliving some of the leafy beauty still.

One morning, I passed the local kindergarden

And noticed the maple leaves glowing

In the pink sunrise. They were stunning.

Hiking out into the countryside

A lovely pastoral scene unfolded,

Making me feel as if I were living

Inside a Japanese silk painting.
