Cherry blossom rain

I haven’t been able to visit the cherry blossoms this year,

So here are a few photos from a couple of years ago:

The blossoms give hope wings;

They lift spirits with their pop of colour;

And when the wind blows,

You can enjoy cherry blossom rain.

    That is so true, Fiona! They are my favorite blossoms on a tree. They remind me of the summer I spent in Japan.

    Thanks so much for sharing the beauty, my friend. Have a lovely week!

  3. Sublime.
    I am sad that you (and many others) missed them this year, but am comforted realising they blossomed and bloomed just fine without our appreciation.
    Stay well, stay safe.

  4. so beautiful. I haven’t been able to visit the autumn leaf fall at a tree park a couple hours from us this year either. No doubt by the time I get there all the lease would have blown down.

  7. Gorgeous shots of cherry blossoms. In my part of the world, the trees changed their attire to fresh green. I call cherry blossom “snow” when petals are falling. Thank you for taking the meme even when you can’t use your arm free as usual. Wish you speedy recovery.

  8. We’re starting to get blossoms and blooms here. You just reminded me to check out the lilac situation in the Arboretum. Thank you for sharing your virtual petals, you’ll be seeing some lovely sights real soon I’m sure. Schmooches to the pooches.

  10. We do lots of walks around our neighbourhood. All of the trees with blossoms (we don’t have many cherry trees, only a wild variety with white flowers) are starting to drop. The maple catkins are now sporting seeds that will soon fall. – Margy
