The decade in photos

A quick look through the photos over the past decade shows

That I enjoyed lots of sunsets —

Often with dogs and sometimes hot air balloons.

And, of course, there is the snowy joy

Of winter – also with dogs –

But sometimes without.

And after winter, the annual spring exlosion

Of sakura cherry blossoms

To remind us to carpe diem.

Life is fragile, like the blossoms, and just as beautiful.
