Silver days

Sometimes the grey of a non-snowy month

Shows its silver lining and looks lovely.

The snow has melted and the woods are dripping with rain.

This shot of Ruby makes me want to burst out into song:

“Climb every mountain!”

  1. Yes, it sure does look lovely, Fiona! Stunning capture!

OMG, that made me laugh out loud! Brilliant! And Ruby does kind of look like Julie Andrews. LOL! 🙂

Thanks for sharing the beauty, my friend. Have a grrreat week!

  2. Plenty of grey but not much silver here today. The shot across the lake is wonderful. Ruby did well to get up on that slippery-looking rock.

  3. Wonderful! With luck my family will finally see snow at Christmas this year!

  4. I am not sure which is more gorgeous, Ruby, or the sylvan scene. They certainly complement each other at the very least.

  5. Has been grey here too but today is snow and lighting up the outside even with the clouds. Great photos and what a cute king of the mountain photo. 🙂

  6. No way, how did she get up there? You’ve got to take a video of her, way to go pretty girl! I think your keen eye sees the beauty more than most people and it’s lovely that you share that. We’ve had the same type of weather with small gifts of sunshine here and there.

  7. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful scene in your first photograph … and that’s a great photograph with Ruby too 🙂

    All the best Jan
