Grey and mist-erious

It was a foggy and silvery morning down at the lake.

About a hundred geese (or are they ducks?) were having a farewell party.

Suddenly, through the mist,

I heard hundreds of flapping wings.

Dreams took flight —

Along with feathered friends.

  1. Gorgeous post, Fiona! Both your words and images! I love a gray and misty sky; especially this time of year. I find them so calming and peaceful, and stunningly Gothic!

Thanks so much for sharing the beauty of this season, my friend. Have a super week! 🙂
