April dogs

April continues cold – even dipping down to minus 7 C!

But every now and then, the golden light of April

Burnishes everything around it.

Dogs in warm fur coats

Enjoy the woods;

And nature gives us a gift

Of a luminous April sunset.

I’m only posting once this week as I have work and fun activities planned over Easter.

Don’t forget to join up – at Our World Tuesday and Skywatch Friday.

  1. Beautiful photographs, Fiona! The way you captured the light is stunning!

Wow, I can’t believe that you’re still have cold (minus C) weather?!?!? Yesterday, here, it was over 80 degrees and very humid. Unusually warm for this time of year. I wish we’d get one more nice coldish week before the summer hits.

    Happy Easter, my friend! 🙂

  2. It’s been chilly here too and even snowed a bit yesterday, a whole lot one state over. I bet the dogs love it though with all that beautiful fur to keep them warm.

    1. April has been rather chilly. I hope it stays warm soon because my poor girls start swim team at the end of the month and the water is going to be so cold. Have a great weekend.

  3. I’m looking carefully and not seeing any snow in your landscapes. So, I think it’s spring for you and the dogs. Have a wonderful Easter, Fi.

  4. Wonderful pictiures of the dogs again.
We are having spring now, but it looks like the winds are changing to northern directions in the next week. That would mean your chilly weather is coming our way … brrrr …
Wishing you a very Happy Easter.

  5. Your blog set-up has changed dramatically since I visited last! I wanted to click on your gorgeous header of Wisteria, but it didn’t get me anywhere!
You’re going through a cold spell and here it’s heating up seriously – hopefully not for too long. I’m not ready for the humid summer heat!
    Happy Easter!
