GREAT news, Fiona! As I’m sure you’ve heard, California has had a lot of forest fires because of lack of rain.
We here in the US have also had some record breaking heat/humidity waves this summer. People think I’m strange to love Fall and Winter the way I do, however, it is much easier (and more comfortable) to deal with the cold rather than the heat. I’m am so not a fan of summer.

Yes it does! My daughter and I were just discussing all of the fires there. We’re supposed to get some rain here at the end of the week. I’m looking forward to it!! Cooler temps won’t arrive for another 2 or 3 months, but I’ll take the rain!

We still have terrible forest fires in the US. It has been unusually hot and dry in our west. I prefer cool temperatures so I’m looking forward to autumn!
