Lokrum Island is a short boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
It’s a nature reserve dominated by wild bunnies and peacocks and peahens.
The hens had just had their babies – here they are doing some synchronized grooming.
The peacocks are pretty serious about grooming too!
His head seems to have disappeared into his feathers.
Later on, the well-groomed peacock
Sat and enjoyed the view
Of the stones
And the peacock blue waters.

The people down the road have Peacocks so we have to watch when driving as they tend to take a stroll every now and then. Beautiful creatures. Love the Peahen grooming photo and such beautiful blue water.
