Summer sweets

I haven’t had time to upload and go through my holiday photos yet,

So thought I’d share what makes summer so special.

It can be a stunning swan sunset,

Or a bee pollinating a poppy.

It is the discovery

Of flowers wearing wigs,

And the pink fireworks

Of an onion flower.

  1. Beautiful photos, Fiona. I have been discussing bees with a friend in England in the last couple of days. Horrific to think of them disappearing, and taking the rest of the world with them!

    1. I don’t live next to the lake anymore – have moved around the corner of the same lake, but a 10-15 minute walk away. Got good views though!

  3. Summer sweets indeed, Fiona! Glorious shots! Love the silhouette of the swan against the gold water. And bravo for catching that bee pollinating a poppy πŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing the beauty of summer, my friend!

    Have a lovely week!

  4. Lady Fi – I am so used to your Winter photos, it is a delight to see you display your talents with Summer! Such joy. (You’ll be happy to know that my in-laws from the UK are enjoying their holiday in Montana – just a little different than home – LOL)

  5. Love the sunset !! But all photos are beautiful ! I don’t watch football, but as it is Belgium against Brazil tonight the country gets hysterical !!

  6. You are a talented photographer, Fi, no doubt about that. Plus you also live in a wonderfully scenic country…an unbeatable combination. Thanks for being there for all of us.
