Flower power

We’ve had a lot of rain this summer —

And it’s been wonderful discovering the different flowers in the garden.

Raindrops are beautiful kisses

On the petalled lips of tulips,

While bringing out the fragrance

Of the lilacs.

(This post is scent with love

From me to you.)

I love how you said that, Fiona! Stunning photographs! The color you captured is incredible!

And I can literally smell those lilacs from here 🙂

Have a beautiful week, my friend!

  2. We had lots of rain in Norfolk too … the garden looks lovely, your shots are so beautiful.
Happy Solstice to you all, wishing sunny days to come! 🙂

  3. Dearest Lady-fi; Oh, Great pictures of flowers with close-up* Rainy season now here in Japan 🙂
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend, xoxo Miyako*

  4. The scent of flowers is always stronger after a shower, and much as we have complained about the rain here in the UK this summer too, it does do wonders for the garden 🙂 Your photos are amazing as usual!
