Facing the storm

What is it that approaches

From stage left?

Drama

Can it be those heavy brocades

Weaved from storm clouds?

Wow

Or the rain coming down

In bars of coloured clouds?

Stormy

Simson did his best to pose in the storm —

But I think he was secretly relieved when I took him and my camera home.

  4. I love those strong images: heavy brocades woven from storm clouds, bars of coloured clouds. And the melancholy photo of Simson, claws in protective mode. Choice!

  8. Samson is certainly a photogenic dog. I love how you have such a distant view that you can see the weather a long time before it gets to you. It reminds me of western Oklahoma.

  9. Hi I too love a storm… Dogs don’t usually care for them —so your pup was a good sport. I’m sure he was READY to leave though…. You got some awesome shots of those storm clouds. Thanks for sharing.

  11. Hi! Your photos are very beautiful as always. The Simoson’s face of the last ptoto is very impressive for me. Japanese proverb would say,”eyes are more eloquent than the mouth.”
