Spring sparkles

We celebrated the spring equinox

With snow and blue skies.

Blue skies

Ice drops

Sparkled from daring buds —

The fuzzy catkins

Looked lovely in their cold diamond earrings,

Ice drop

And the hazel flowers

Glittered in the sunlight.

Even though it was still winter on a spring day —

Those sparkly skies were beautiful and uplifting.

Love the last one especially of Mr. Hazel 🙂
Did you find Mrs. Hazel as well?
She is very tiny but she wears bright red
hair. You find her on my blog under (may
I introduce you….) Would love to see a
gorgeous macro from you of her 😀
    Have a beautiful day

  3. Sometimes Spring she moves slowly.
I appreciate your eyes to see and savor the blue sky sparkling
even as she putters along about her unfolding:)
Thank you for sharing your unique place of seeing,

  4. My favorite part of our Ice Storms this winter (and believe me, there were NOT many favorites)–were seeing the ICE glisten on the trees when the sun came out… You got some great pictures of this!!!!!! I have more of this kind to share sometime.

    Hugs,

    1. Well, it’s not really spring – with minus temperatures and ice… but the blue skies and a few buds makes it feel a bit like spring is coming down the line…
