Back in February, we took a trip to visit a new friend
Living on the shore of a large inland lake.
Some boats were marooned in the harbour
And people strolled out onto the frozen lake
To enjoy the view.
I felt all buoyed up
By the dazzling snow and sunlight.
Just as we were leaving,
The sun made a glorious spectacle of itself
Casting a golden glow over this winter’s tale.

So beautiful, all those different colors.

It doesn’t escape my notice that you used a Shakespeare play as the title for this post. Like the tragicomedy it is, your photos illustrate both lights and darks, shadow, and the glorious sun – awesome is the word!

Love the last shot! It is a gorgeous view! The lake nearest us (Pine Lake) freezes every year, but it has springs that keep the ice thin on certain areas, so everyone has to be careful not to fall through!
