Frosted breath

It was the end of October

And the frosted jetty floated in the rising sun.

Frosted jetty

A glowing Ruby

Was ready to play in the golden light.

Ruby on table

The frost turned her breath

Into a white beard.

Frosted breath

Grass crunched underfoot —

And the diamond-studded earth

Made a lovely canvas for a meeting with friends.

After all, happiness is a frosted dog!

  2. Excellent tribute to Father Frost! 🙂 Ruby looks lovely with a frosted beard. Now comes the time wehen it is good to go inside, lit the candles and pour something hot into the cup.
