Garden delights

I love gardening —

I could watch it for hours!

Or even better, photograph it…

Rhodies

There’s nothing better

Than flowers in full bloom,

Poppy copy

Scenting the air

And acting as a landing pad for bees,

Bee

Or petalled beauties

Wearing pink wigs.

Thanks to all my neighbours who have such photogenic gardens!

  5. What beautiful flowers you have in your garden.
I especially love the white poppy. We see a lot of reds/oranges here, but very few whites, so this is a real treat.
    Happy day to you!

  10. You and I are the same kind of gardeners! So I loved this post. We have good neighbors who share (and perfect strangers too who don’t even know they’re sharing … I’m shameless at stealing flowers!) So … we are them same, but you take better pictures! These are truly lovely. Wonderful summer.

  11. What a “deliciously” vibrant orange Poppy! (Interesting to see your photo too of the Bleeding Heart flowers, an image of which I also posted last week – hadn’t seen them previously) Thanks for hosting, Ladyfi

  12. Yes thanks indeed. Such vibrant colors that you found. We have not had much time for a regular flower garden, but we are doing a wildflower garden again in the backyard. It is so little work and produces beautiful rewards.

  13. Hmmmm,….the best thing next to having your own beautiful garden is to have neighbors with fascinating gardens. The array of shots shows it.
