A couple of weekends ago, it started to snow
And snow and snow.
Nature softened her contours
As everything – including Oscar – was buried in lovely white flakes.
Twigs sprouted snow cones;
People and dogs frolicked in the blizzard.
(Look at those Yoda ears!)
And afterwards, we enjoyed the silence
Of a fresh carpet of diamonds.
For more frolicking, please visit: Our World Tuesday.
And they went into the snow, the snow and the snow.

Oscar applause, are fantastic. I love you.
I do not like winter, waiting for spring. Your photos, however, show its beauty.

Oscar exudes such joy! I may have told you 50 thousand times before that your pictures actually make me wish for a winter experience (we’ve never lived where there was a lot of snow.. used to go to the mountains with kids and to cross-country ski and we’ve driven through snow on our travels, but never actually spent months in it). But then I remember that my bones and toes ache when they get cold, so I decide to just enjoy the season vicariously through your posts! Thank you.

Oscar leads the way yet again – I adore the way he embraces his world with pure abandon. No human being can hold a candle to a dog’s joy when the snow piles up. That’s a beautiful blanket of crystal white snow covering every inch of the landscape. What a fantastic sight. Can there be a more lovely place in the whole world?
