It seems like such a short time ago the trees were leafed out and your kids (this includes Oscar) were splashing in the lake! And now a season of beauty of a very different sort, stark and spare but in my eyes, no less beautiful than green and flowery summer. I love a bare tree silhouetted against a beautiful sky, and this one seemed made for such a photograph! And I can never get over the amazing colors of your skies – the shades of pink and lavender are just gorgeous. Raspberry ripple indeed! Just beautiful.
