So similar to our own lakes here. We got out on the water to kayak some lakes and streams last night for my birthday. The mosquitoes are worth it! Beautiful shots – happy summer solstice to you this week!

Your children (and Oscar) must love this time of year. I’m wondering if the lake water remains cold? I’ve only ever seen Oscar brave enough to swim in it! The sunset on the water is magnificent.

The water gets quite warm and the kids do swim in it sometimes. They don’t like the muddy bottom so are often in the local outdoor pool or in other lakes near us.
