Building bridges

This photo was taken during the deliciously cold winter of 2010.

I like the symbolism of the bridge connecting two small islands of land:

It reminds me that we are all connected

And that it’s never too late to reach out

And mend bridges.

Stop being who you were, and change into who you are. — Paulo Coelho

  1. The insight and depth which saturates this image makes it a mystical nirvana of sorts, well at least to me -cool blue tint, yet warming and thoughtful but still fragile.

I relate to the words; yours and those of Paulo Coelho. Some bridges can be mended, where as others require a complete reconstruct.

  3. Fabulous photo… OH–how I love seeing the snow. AND–life truly is all about building bridges.. We all need to continue stepping across those barriers and checking out the new territory on the other side….

    Happy 2013.

  5. Happy New Year! I wish you all the best in 2013!! Lovely photo! In answer to your question..Chance is eight..and he is a little stiff in his front legs..one baby aspirin a day given with some peanut butter or in some cheese makes him feel much better. He was on a fancy prescription Remadryl..but that seemed not to work as well as the baby aspirin. Kisses for Oscar! 🙂
