I’m glad you dug these out of the archives, I’d hate to have missed them! They’re sublime. I think the reflection in the first one is even more intensely colored than the sky above! And sweet Oscar is very brave, as well as overjoyed… that’s got to be some mighty cold water, snow or now snow!

By the way, have you ever looked at any of Paterson Freeman images or read his writings on photography. He is a kind of hero of mine since high school.

I think golden retrievers like to celebrate with a swim. Our dog jumped into the river and enjoyed a winter-swim, but i guess the water here is warmer 🙂
