Living your learning

Nothing much has been happening,

But as I look back at some summer memories

I realize that moments when we have taken the time to pause,

To enjoy, to reflect and to learn —

These are the moments that make up our lives.

Life is for learning – but one’s learning must then be lived. Yusuf/Cat Stevens

  1. I just love the way you always depict the sky. There’s something so beautiful about the children looking out towards the sailing boats, and that last sentence by Yusuf – that’s indeed what life is all about.

  2. The images speak for the words and the words pause to understand and absorb the images. Powerful and moving images, but then again you already know that. Nostalgia is a hard emotion to capture, you did so with these images I do believe.

Doing just what the images suggest for the last couple days myself.

  3. Beautiful pictures! Always outstanding, so full of energy and movement, despite the fact they are still-frames. I never tire of visiting here.

  4. The sky in your first picture is striking and what a terrific picture of your kids. Now THAT should be on your wall for them to see when they get older. Perhaps with the text as well. -Danette

  6. Wow … there is something really special about that second photo. It has almost a surreal aspect to it with the dark clouds and the boats and then the kids. Really caught my eye.
