Outstanding (with a side dish of give-away)

Last week, on arriving back from England,

The rain painted the sky

With a beautiful palette of blue and sunbeams.

Over the houses, a rainbow shone through

The moody sky.

I looked for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,

And found YOU, dear reader. Outstanding reader!

A big thank you for supporting and reading my blog for the past four years!

To celebrate my 4th Bloggiversary, I’m giving away a fabulous T shirt designed by Sir Pe.

(You can find the design and colours on his Red Bubble site here.)

Leave me a comment, a poem or a joke and I’ll enter you in a draw to win the T shirt!

(It’s available in men and women’s sizes!)

For more pots of gold, please visit: Skywatch.

  3. Fiona, the skies you have there are absolutely magnificent. You have such a remarkable way of catching them. I’ve seen that in so many of your images. It’s quite remarkable. Those skies really do something to me – just a beautiful spaciousness. I think they make me feel something of that spaciousness. Thank you. Always a treat.

  6. That is a spectacular sky and photo, and Happy Bloggiversary! (Please don’t enter me in the t-shirt drawing as it wouldn’t work on my middle-aged guy’s frame.)

  8. Two really spectacular photos. The editing was quite excellent in the first one and I bet the image was quite good to begin with.

That is a hearty t-shirt design. I wonder if there is some kind of square image in the middle of the heart that people point with an expensive cell phone and get strange new info from it.

  11. Happy Bloggiversaire “Yes, blogging is entertainment. It is performance. Each blog post a show, sometimes an opera, sometimes a 30 second commercial. Like a show, it may start with a bang, lead you along from song to song, have a great climatic moment, then leave the audience wanting more.” (Lorelle Van Fossen )

  13. Spectacular light effects in the first (clouds) picture! Its feels surreal. Excellent capture. Also, congratulations on completing 4 years on this blog :). The theme of your blogs, a few rhyming and meaningful words accompanied with beautiful pictures with a lot of perspective, always draws me to them.

Every time I see a rainbow I’m looking for that pot of gold, but I still haven’t found it. But one day … 😉

  17. WordPress hates me. I had a great (not so great) little poem for you but WordPress wanted my password which I don’t appear to know. Then it lost what I wrote.. twice. ANYWAY.. happy 4 years, Fi. I wish you many, many more blogging years. Your treasures are my pleasure. And I thank you for that. I love that little t-shirt idea. So clever to incorporate a QR code.

  19. That is the most amazing sky. It looks like the ocean’s waves. Of course, it took a pretty amazing eye to capture it. Happy 4-year anniversary, Fi, and thank you for sharing your glorious images with us. It’s always such a pleasure to visit you.

    Oh me oh my
your blog is such an enjoyment
it becomes a detriment to my

    Lady Fi
If it were up to me
I would make your blog a requirement

  21. Congrats Lady Fi! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your posts! This sky photo is just amazing. Interesting how the tumultuous clouds almost mirror the waves lapping at the shores below. Great shot!
