Mist-ical magic

With no warning, the temperatures fell

And the fog with it.

Wonderful golden fog,

Each particle of the air alive

And singing with colour and life.

  1. Wow, these photo’s are really special. I don’t think I ever saw this color fog, over here it is always grey or white.

  2. I love the play on words. And I love the way you embrace each moment and capture it for all of us to enjoy afterward. Very eerie, yet in a strange way, inviting as well. Nicely done!

  4. We have lots of fog here in the northwest, but I’ve never seen gorgeous colors like this! Really breathtaking captures for the day! I love the “other worldly” look! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  5. Lady Fi,

    Your photos are pure poetry.

These stunning photos makes me think of this poem by Carl Sandburg. (one of my faves.)

    –Fog–

    THE fog comes
    on little cat feet.

    It sits looking
    over harbor and city
    on silent haunches
    and then moves on.

  6. These images look very similar in colour and feel to our smoke haze the last week. Love the lone figure appearing and disappearing into the fog!

  9. Your photography makes even the snowy cold look so amazing….now how come when I go outside here, it doesn’t look like that? It’s cold, and wet, and white….LOL.

Maybe Sweden is prettier then the North Okanagan,
