I have a human friend who dips herself in the ocean even in winter too. Me – the idea would never even occur! Love the colours in your photo but I think I’ll stay on the beach, thanks.
January 5, 2012 at 14:46
Wow, great. I love your music hear. I can appreciate it with my sound on mute.

January 5, 2012 at 19:53
Joyous as always. I assume that Oscar jumped in shortly after this photo was taken, shattering the calm perfection of the water. And enjoying himself.
January 5, 2012 at 21:22
What gorgeous colours. And one can almost feel Oscar’s sense of anticipation! If your sun is setting at 3 in the afternoon, what time does the sun rise there at this time of year?
January 5, 2012 at 21:24
It doesn’t start getting light until about 8 am or a little later.
January 6, 2012 at 07:47
What a fantastic photo!!!I hope you had a good start into the new year and have a nice weekend!
January 5, 2012 at 22:13

January 5, 2012 at 22:58
Actually, a double rainbow. I like these colors together.
January 5, 2012 at 23:10
Gorgeous capture and the colors are stunning. I love your sky shots. It looks as if Oscar is asking permission to go swimming. Or does he just go and jump in? Happy Skywatching and have a wonderful weekend.
January 5, 2012 at 23:26
He usually asks for permission.
January 6, 2012 at 07:45

January 6, 2012 at 00:20
Awesome sunset ~ Lucky dog ^_^
January 6, 2012 at 00:44
Oscar reminds me of those people in the Polar Bear Club who swim in frigid waters for FUN! It looks like he’s enjoying the sunset before he dives. Since the dock has no snow, I’m wondering if it snowed there yet?
January 6, 2012 at 00:53
We’ve had only one light snowfall so far this winter, and it looks as if we have a sprinkling on the ground this morning. (Hard to tell as it’s still dark!)
January 6, 2012 at 07:41
Lovely shot! My dog hates water, so he never goes for a swim.
January 6, 2012 at 01:46
Oscar does love his swims!
January 6, 2012 at 02:01
That would be one invigorating swim! Go, puppy! That’s a beautiful photo. All your photos of this magnificent pup are epic, loving.

What a lovely photo..no ice there yet? We have some ice on the lakes..but it is unsafe this year because it is too warm. People are taking their fish houses off the lakes..many are just going underwater. It was 55 degrees here on Thursday..and I was stuck in a meeting all afternoon:(
January 7, 2012 at 06:42
