Happily ever after

Most stories end with the heroes riding off into the sunset

And then living happily ever after.

Most of my stories end with us admiring a silken sky

And then swimming off into the sunset.

Either way – it’s a pretty happy ending, don’t you think?

  1. Happy endings and your photos are the best. Oscar looks like a hero in the first picture….he is such a beautiful boy.

  2. Both possibilities can lead to a happy ending, but I sure like your silken skies and glorious watery reflections. But I’m not sure I’m ready for a swim this time of year.

  3. Beautiful Fi!! I hope you will consider sending me an email about what you are grateful for to add to this year’s gratitude word quilt. It will be posted on my blog on Dec 31st. I am collecting expressions of gratitude from around the world. Enjoy the weekend’s skies, blue, grey, or filled with a pallet of many colors!

  4. Utterly beautiful although it may be just a little too cool for swimming where you are.
Superb colours, similar to mine this week but much more pronounced.

  5. OH WOW! It is a gorgeous ending. What a beautiful sight, the colors and reflections are just stunning. And I love your cute Oscar, he would like my Goldie Girl. As usual AWEsome photos, happy skywatching and have a wonderful weekend.

  6. I’m always astounded by your craft of creating a fantasy from one page of your daily life. A swimming off dog into the sunset beyond the purple ripples is awesome!

  9. Poochie on the pier is awesome! Was that natural lighting and color, or did you punch it up in a post-processor? Either way, simply gorgeous!
