What better way to celebrate the long light evenings of a Swedish summer
Than enjoying the sunset
And then diving into the broken yolk
Of the golden sun – at ten o’clock in the evening?

Great shots, especially with the dog, who Boomer thinks is brave to be in that water. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

I think I could never tire of sunset over water. Beautiful and obviously warm enough for swimming – or was that just Oscar?

The water is probably around 20C – so a little chilly – but the kids don’t mind it. However, this evening, it was just Oscar.

Beautiful photos. Sometimes I miss the long summer evenings we had when I lived in Holland, I’m too far south for those now. But I don’t miss the clouds!

Beautiful sunset. You have longer days than we do – our sun sets near 9, and by 10 it’s deep twilight. I love the long days of summer, and I’m a little sad that they are already growing shorter by a few minutes each day.
