The poetry of flight

A glorious November day with the sun shining just so,

Shedding golden pools of light on trees

As birds took off – into a purple veil of fog.

Poetry in motion.

I leave no trace of wings in the air, but I am glad I have had my flight.

  5. Beautiful photo! I’m enchanted by the mood it sets and intrigued that the the motion of the birds adds interest without disrupting the peace of setting.

  6. Now I have that song “she blinded me with science” in my head, for some reason the lyric “like poetry in motion” triggered it.

    Such beauty in those shots.
