  4. Brrrr … but beautiful! Ice on hair is a lovely photo, and really conveys the weather. So much wiser to embrace and enjoy the cold and snow than to pine for summer’s warmth.

  7. The lovely girl has a perfect snow-white smile and her purple gloves are interestingly marked with both real and patterned snowflakes. I feel for the person huddled from the cold in your beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing the magic of these moments.

  8. I think that is more cold than I care to deal with. Here, if the temps dip to freezing, we feel that is too cold and rush to cover the tender plants. We can have tender plants for freezing is a rare problem.

  10. That hair is a crowning glory – with or without the frost! Wonderful photo essay, Fi. So cold here, too – we skied this AM and had to go inside with the children after one run (for hot chocolate, of course!).
