Invincible summer

In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.
Albert Camus

This quotation sums up my year,  inspires me when life gets tough and helps me look forward to the future with hope.

May you carry summer in your hearts all year round – and may the coming year be kind to you.

  1. I have this quote in my home, Fi – a good reminder that there is a core of hope in us all. I looked at your lake photo a long time, soaking in the beauty of sky, clouds, and water. Perhaps when I feel winter holding me captive, I’ll remember your lake and feel renewed. Happy 2011 to you and your Family!

  4. Isn’t it amazing- that quote means so much in your context, but in the India of Eternal Summer, the only thing that translates is the meaning behind it.
The amazing bit is that you can come from such different cultures and geographies, and find that under all that, you are the same person.

Happy New Year, Fiona, and I am glad we met.

  6. I love the quote, but the photos are just incredible! I love the contrail reflected in the water!! The water looks so still, but there is enough movement to break up the straight lines of the contrail!!
