Golden moments

the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.

George Eliot

  2. Ooh, do you still have gold leaves? My daughters are bunking with me while their dad’s on a business trip. I love to hear them breath.

    • Unfortunately, we only have bare branches now.

Ah – the sweet sound of children softly breathing – it’s the music of the angels!

  3. I told my teen this morning that she looked lovely. Just before she looked away, I saw the hint of a smile.

  7. It’s good to stop and think about this once in a while. We remember so little – just highlights of most of our past years …

  12. Late Autumn reminds me to cherish all of the golden moments of life as they happen. Sometimes it’s harder to find them, but when they appear they are oh so worth it!!
    (actually and metaphorically).

  16. I love how you mix up lovely reflective posts like this with silliness.

And my golden moments right now were seeing my son and my mom forge a strong bond by playing games together and working on art projects. Warms my heart like nothing else.

  17. These autumnal scenes have ministered to me this year in a way different from other years. Or maybe I’m just aging, can’t remember, and feel this way EVERY year! lol

I have loved taking in the changes and hues. Thanks for sharing and for being such a faithful friend even through the autumns.
