Wednesday Words (OK – it’s Thursday, but who’s counting? Oh – you are!)

Sue and Liam came home one day after a party. They spread joy and smiles and the kids played with them for ages.

After a while, they started feeling deflated, as if the air was going out of them, so they rested gently on a chair. When you came into the room, you couldn’t help but smile when you saw them. Finally, they were nothing but empty plastic bags.

We bid them a fond farewell. RIP Sue and Liam!

  1. I can’t help but smile at them, either..they are cute!

I always dread the day that Emma’s balloons deflate. She cries when she finds out that I threw them away.

  2. Thanks for joining Wednesday Words. Very cute post.

I have tried numerous times, to get the link working, it is not working. I will retry again later, so sorry.

  3. heeheee, they made me smile as well!
What do we learn from this?
That if you smile too much you will only feel deflated? Hmm.

Graninge is… not too far from Sollefteå and Långsele. I’ll be staying at my mum’s house because Härnösand is about an hour away by car and I’m going to be there two days in a row.

  4. Happiness never blows up in your face. 🙂 Greetings Lady Fi! I’m back and visiting blogs finally. Thank you for your support even in my absence. It was nice to come home to. 🙂
