Cute overload?

When the gorgeous Clive, an Assistance Dog working with a ten-year-old autistic boy – fondly called Little Man – wrote and asked me to post some pictures of my own dog, Oscar – I couldn’t help but be impressed. After all, how does that dog manage to write comments without opposable thumbs?

So, Little Man, this post is for you – hope it brings a smile or three to your face!

Oscar, enjoying a summer’s day last year:

And here he is on a hot spring day this year.

Don’t stick your tongue out at me, buddy…

Just in case you’re wondering, Oscar is a Working Golden Retriever, who came into our lives two years ago when he was 4.5 years old. (Remind me to tell you that story some time.)

Oh – and because I know you are fond of a good-looking pair of buttocks, I’m throwing in this picture as an added bonus…

Check out TravelerFolio’s site for more great photos!

By the way, did you know that those red buttocks act like comfy cushions? (Not unlike our own butts, I suppose…)

    1. Hey Bharat,
Commendable collection. can you tell me which camera you used and with what zoom. Congratulations

  2. We’re so happy! The smiles and the laughter were something to behold! Thank you so much for the photos of Oscar – the little man was really happy with the photos – and he loved Oscar’s tongue!!

and then the baboon photo! Well, we have to explain that the little man’s favourite animal when we visit Dublin Zoo – which we do a lot!! are the Baboons!! Why, well he says his dad’s bottom looks just the same as a baboon – don’t ask!

So, you managed to thrill him doubly – first, great photos of Oscar and then the baboons!!

    Much appreciated from us all
    – the little man’s mum

    1. Glad to hear the Little Man was pleased. You had mentioned in another post that he loved baboon bottoms – hence the butt shot! 😉

  3. Ok, you totally spoiled the happy doggie face with that last pic! Ewwwww! I quickly rolled my screen up, so I didn´t have to see it anymore….
But your dog is the cutest!

  4. I guess that’s a good reminder that our butts could always look worse… lots worse! LOL

Oscar is such a cutie. I love goldens. Actually, I love most all dogs. 🙂

  5. What a beautiful dog Oscar is. The best animals always come into our lives without our asking…I’d love you to tell us that story sometime.

  6. That is one Beautiful dog. I have a soft spot for dogs that’s for sure. Simply beautiful. As you know, I am new to this blog and I have to say that I love it, I’m sure you could tell from the thousand comments I have left. (I love commenting) Anyways great blog, I was wondering if I could put your blog on my blogroll so that I can get to it a lot faster, you know, instead of searching and all that jazz. Thanks for the great stuff.

  7. Now, you are one good looking gentleman, Oscar! Look forward to reading more about you. You do have a big tongue, but it’s much prettier than those pink cushions that look painfully familiar! Remind me not to look over my shoulder in the mirror when i step out of the shower!!!

I love reading your comments!
